The 4th Annual Lagunitas Beer Circus took place Sunday, May 20, at the brewery grounds in Petaluma, Calif. The event had no problem selling out at $40 for general admission and $25 for designated driver.
While the beer offerings were choice, it wasn’t about the large number of breweries pouring. It was about the circus!
Mind-bending, vaudeville-style acts took place, with live circus music providing the atmosphere. And ooh-la-la — the scantily clad burlesque dancers were a treat! A scene not to be missed. A carnival with midway games and awesome craft beers!
Breweries pouring included Anchor Brewing, Dempsey’s, HenHouse Brewing, Iron Springs Brewery, Lagunitas Brewing, Marin Brewing, Moonlight Brewing, Moylan’s Brewery, Napa Smith Brewery, North Coast Brewing, Russian River Brewing, Sonoma Springs Brewing, Stumptown Brewery, Third Street AleWorks and 21st Amendment Brewery. All this and great food too!
The Lagunitas Beer Circus is a benefit for the Petaluma Music Festival — “Keeping Music in the Schools.” A great charity indeed. |
