Third Street Wins "Best Of Show"
(CA State Fair Commercial Beer Competition)

Third Street AleWorks in Santa Rosa, Calif., took home the top prize "Best of Show" for its Cerveza De Santa Rosa in the Spice/Herb beer category. "Brewster" Denise Jones (also known as Head Brewer at Third Street) is pictured with her gaggle of medals and the coveted Golden Bear awarded for the Best of Show.

Other Third Street AleWorks beers winning awards included the Stonefly Mochaccino in the Specialty category; Clooney's Irish Red for Scottish Irish; Blarney Sisters Dry Irish Stout in the Dry Foreign American Stout category; Biergarten Pilsner in the German Pils category; Annadel Pale Ale for ESB; Harvest Cherry Ale in the Fruit Beer category and Hell Export Lager in the American Lager category.

The winners were announced Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the fairgounds in Sacramento by competition organizer J.J. Jackson and presented by Celebrator Beer News publisher Tom Dalldorf. For a complete listing of awards go to www.calbrewers.com.
